Connections and Relations

NPCs:Kyoya - Known only as 'Kyoya', this quiet, dark Au Ra male serves as Shizu's butler and companion. He rarely speaks when others are present, however he has warmed up to his mistress and will often chat over a cup of tea.Akihiko Tabito - Her father; deceased. Akihiko was a stoic man who governed his people with a gentle and caring hand. He wanted to see his daughter wed to a neighboring island's future Daimyo in an effort to secure trade for his people. He had high expectations of Shizuka, however his softness for his wife allowed her to convince him to let Shizu learn some of the warrior's arts.Fuyumi Tabito - Her mother; deceased. Fuyumi wanted to see her daughter break from traditions, and encouraged her to learn to defend herself. Still, despite her desire to see her daughter fly, she went along with her husband's plan for an arranged marriage.Shinro Mori - Her betrothed. While he seemed a kind enough man, he was a relative unknown to Shizuka, as they were only allowed small supervised visits. She is unsure if he still survives.Hiroya Tanaka - Akihiko's captain of the guard. He taught her to survive and defend herself. He was like a second father to her, and her a daughter to him. He taught her the longbow and mounted combat first in secret, then with her father's permission. He also taught her how to wield the katana and naginata in secret, though she was not far in her naginata training when their island was invaded.Hakaru Tanaka - The son of her mentor. He escorted her to Eorzea, where they parted ways. They run into one another now and then and are always happy to share a cup of tea.Aiko Tabito-Lamora - Red hair and green eyes like her father and iridescent scales like her mother, Aiko is proving to be a bright and bubbly toddler, babbling constantly as her father reads to her from a tome on carpentry. His favorite one, of course. Her mother is clearly a safe spot, however, as she often cuddles up against her chest and passes right out. She's walking, running, and even managing stairs fairly confidently now (albeit the stairs are backwards). She's slowly gaining more words, and can identify several different types of lumber if you ask her (though she can't say them yet! We're working on that)!PCs:
Bek Lamora-Tabito- A accomplished craftsman, Bek worked for the House of Splendors before setting off to create his own business, Bek's Luxuries For Less. After meeting him once, Shizu fell head over heels in love right about the moment he drunkenly walked into a wall. He made her laugh, something that was desperately missing from her life. They are now happily married, with one small red haired "scaled wonder" of a toddler, and it's no longer rumor that they're expecting not one, but two, additions to the family soon.Iris Whitewillow - One of Shizu's closest friends and confidants. They now work together in the Hunter's Haven.Lord Talan Jeanne de Cantrelle - A friend and business associate, he once maintained the loan for the Koma Chashitsu and employed Shizuka's services at one time.Kalsang Tserin - One of her oldest friends, they met soon after she came into Eorzea.Lalah Molkot - Her previous Captain, and the one who hid and housed her when she first came into Eorzea. She runs the fleet of ships that assists with transporting goods from Tural to Eorzea.
